LDO regulators typically use power

LDO is a linear regulator. Linear regulators use operating in its linear region transistors or FET, from the applied input electric transformer the excess voltage, produces a regulated output voltage. The so-called dropout voltage, refers to the regulator will remain at its rated output voltage 100mV down within the required input electric meter output voltage difference between the minimum. Positive output voltage LDO (low dropout) regulator typically use power transistors (also known as pass-through device) as the PNP. This transistor is allowed to saturate, so the regulator can have a very low dropout voltage, typically 200mV or so; contrast, the use of composite NPN power Circuit breaker traditional linear regulator voltage drop of about 2V. Negative Output LDO pass using NPN as its equipment, its mode of operation and the positive output of the LDO PNP device similar.
